A 30yr old female from Bhabhua with 2 kids had fevers and chills, they had to travel 2-4 km to get a medical care for herself and the kids. On 17th May, her elder daughter while playing got hurt and she needed immediate medical assistance. Since, no male person is available in family she was tensed about her kid’s health. The same day CCAD- Mobile Medical Unit reached her village and people told our medical team to go to her house for the immediate care she needed. Within no time the Mobile Medical Team along with Doctor reached her doorstep and did the assessment and first aid required for her daughter. She was too diagnosed with seasonal fever and cough. Whole family was assessed my Doctor and lab tests was run on the patient. Later they were sent with Plan of Care along with all the medicines they requires for next 7 days.

A 72 year old patient with several geriatric issue was restricting himself to get checked and assessed. Dr.Abhilash and ANM Ms.Anita counselled the patient for 15-20 minutes to make him aware about the health risk he might be having and treatment he requires. The patient initially hesitated but our teams effort he got his assessment and check up done. The medical team has given the required medications for him to take on daily basis with a follow up next week. He left our Mobile Medical Unit with a smile and thanking everyone.

On 31st May, we received a Male/33yr old patient, sitting curiously listening to our awareness program on WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY. He asked couple of questions, which intimidated our medical team to get in touch with him in person and ask him about his medical queries and condition. He is a regular tobacco user, and our team did few lab tests on him with a thorough medical examination and assessment to see the risks associated with Tobacco users. He pledged that day after counselling he will leave tobaccos for his and his family betterment. Dr. Pooja, gave him the required medications and asked him to follow up on regular basis whenever MMU is coming to his village.
